Embracing Change: A Season of Growth, Creativity, and Transformation
As the calendar turns to a new year, I find myself reflecting on the incredible power of pivoting—how sometimes life nudges (or pushes) us in new directions we didn’t anticipate but desperately need. For me, the last few months have been a whirlwind of change, creativity, and personal growth, fueled by health challenges that forced me to reimagine my path.
2023 came with unexpected hurdles, including a diagnosis that required surgery and a focus on healing. These moments, though difficult, gave me time to pause and reevaluate. I asked myself: What truly matters? How can I align my talents, passions, and vision to create something meaningful—not just for me, but for my community?
The answers were clearer than I expected.
What’s New: A Podcast Reimagined
My podcast, Beyond the Makeup Chair™, has been a project close to my heart since its inception. After a short pause, I’m thrilled to announce its relaunch this January! The upcoming season will feature shorter, solo episodes where I share insights, stories, and practical tools for creatives navigating their unique journeys.
Why shorter episodes? As I recover, I’m focusing on what I can give authentically without overextending myself. These episodes will be packed with value and reflection, including personal stories about turning setbacks into comebacks—a theme that resonates deeply for me right now.
